A 24-year-old client suffering from acute anxiety. The features that they are likely to present are:-

a) Blurred vision, lack of memory, paranoia

b) Sweating, palpitation, apprehension

c) Confusion, insomnia, dry mouth

d) Attention seeking, suggestibility, apprehension.

At least four of the following symptoms must be
present to identify the presence of a panic attack. When
fewer than four symptoms are present, the individual is
diagnosed as having a limited-symptom attack.
● Palpitations, pounding heart, or accelerated heart rate
● Sweating
● Trembling or shaking
● Sensations of shortness of breath or smothering
● Feeling of choking
● Chest pain or discomfort
● Nausea or abdominal distress
● Feeling dizzy, unsteady, lightheaded, or faint
● Derealization (feelings of unreality) or depersonalization
(feelings of being detached from oneself)
● Fear of losing control or going crazy
● Fear of dying
● Paresthesias (numbness or tingling sensations)
● Chills or hot flashes
